KETO FOR A MONTH CONTINUES (WEEK 2)

So here we are at the beginning of week 2 of keto. We are starting .5 of a kilo lighter, so 66 kgs. We will see if we can do better this week.
This week I’m going to try some new recipes and experiment a little with some delicious sweet stuff.
Let’s get started and see how we go.

Day 8 Menu


So i really miss cereal so I’m going to try some vanilla chia pudding this morning for breakfast with a black coffee.



For lunch I had a mini keto pizza which was so satisfying.


And for dinner we had steak and cauliflower mash with a keto “gravy”.

Day 8 Macros

  • Breakfast:  Calories 151 , Fat 10g, Carbs 1.5 g, Protein 5g
  • Lunch:  Calories 106 , Fat 6g , Carbs 5g, Protein 10g
  • Dinner:  Calories 512, Fat 35g, Carbs 6.7, Protein 37g


Day 9 Menu


I had leftover chia pudding for breakfast but added almond butter today also a black coffee.

For lunch we had another yummy pizza.

Dinner today consists of chicken curry with Konjac rice which was a different texture but not bad.

Day 9 Macros

  • Breakfast:  Calories 151, Fat 10g, Carbs 1.5 g, Protein 5g
  • Lunch:  Calories 106, Fat 6g , Carbs 5g, Protein 10g
  • Dinner:  Calories 444, Fat 29g, Carbs 9g, Protein 37g.

Day 10 Menu


Today we had just coffee for breakfast.



For lunch we had a bunless burger with salad and cheese



For snacks today we had a chocolate brownie cookie


For dinner today we had pork chops and “gravy” cauliflower mash and mushrooms.

  • Lunch:  Calories 443, Fat 104g, Carbs 8g, Protein 53g.
  • Snack:  Calories 89, Fat 7.5g, Carbs 1g, Protein 1.5g.
  • Dinner: Calories 477, Fat 39, Carbs 4g, Protein 25g.

Day 11 Menu


Coffee again for breakfast this morning

Today we made experimental keto bread so I made a cheese toasty for lunch.. yum.



Crackers with almond butter and rasberrys for snacks today



Dinner was cheeseshell tacos with a no carb beer which was lovely

  • Lunch:  Calories 520g , Fat 46g, Carbs 5g, Protein 114g
  • Snack: Calories 42, Protein 2.6g, Fat 1.6g, Carbs 2.4g.
  • Dinner:  Calories 432 , Fat 33g, Carbs 5g, Protein 28g.



Day 12
Coffee for breakfast this morning also its Valentine’s day so no chocolate box for me today lol.

Had a chicken and cheese sandwich for lunch today



Chocolate brownie cookie and a coffee for a snack this afternoon.

Dinner
Coconut crusted seafood basket for dinner tonight also a no carb beer.

Day 12 Macros

  • Lunch:  Calories 520g , Fat 46g, Carbs 5g, Protein 114g.
  • Snack: Calories 89, Fat 7.5g, Carbs 1g, Protein 1.5g.
  • Dinner:  Calories 443, Fat 30g , Carbs 5g, Protein 31g.

Day 13 Menu

Breakfast is coffee again but I’m not mad about it.

Lunch we had bunless burgers

Didn’t have dinner tonight had to work out of town

Day 13 macros

  • Lunch:  Calories 443, Fat 104g, Carbs 8g, Protein 53g.

Day 14 Menu

Breakfast we arrived home at 5am so we had breakfast at lunchtime after a sleep.

Lunch we had a big roast chicken from red rooster, yes we are out as we were very tired.

Dinner was leftover chicken on my homemade keto bread I made earlier in the week.

  • Lunch:  Calories 520g , Fat 46g, Carbs 5g, Protein 114g
  • Snack: Calories 42, Protein 2.6g, Fat 1.6g, Carbs 2.4g.
  • Dinner:  Calories 432 , Fat 33g, Carbs 5g, Protein 28g.

So that was week 2, I must admit it’s getting easier to work around the cravings although it does take a lot more time in the kitchen. I mean the bread I made tasted great but it took like 7 hours to make (no i’m not kidding). I hope you enjoyed this week’s journey and are willing to touch base with me next week.
